Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Guwahati to Shillong

Day-1

• Arrive at Guwahti Airport Transfer to Shillong “The Scotland of the East”.
• En-route visit Umiam Lake, a large artificial reservoir.
• Check in to your hotel in Shillong.
• Explore Police Bazar in the evening for local shopping. ( Guwahati to Shillong 100 k.m.)

Shillong to Cherrapunji

Day-2

• After breakfast drive to Dawki.
• Visit Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanliest Village.
• Enjoy boating on the Umngot river.
• Visit the living Root Bridge and the Balancing Rock.
• Stay overnight in Cherrapunji. ( Shillong- Dawki- Cherrapunji 230 K.M ).

Cherrapunji to Shillong

Day-3

• After breakfast drive to Cherrapunji sightseening “Rain Capital of the World”.
• Visit Mausmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls, Eco Park, explore the Garden of Cave, Arwah Cave, Marvet at Nokh Kalikai Falls and enjoy the views.
• Returned to Shillong, enroute visits Elephant Falls, Mawkdak Dympep Valley view point, Cathedral Chruch.
• Over night stay at Shillong ( Cherrapunji to Shillong 90 K.M )

Shillong to Kaziranga

Day-4

• Early morning drive to Kaziranga National Park, “Where the earth still breathe wild and free”.
• En-route visit the Maha Mrityunjoy Temple.
• Check in to your pre booked resort or hotel in Kaziranga.
• Relax and enjoy the resort or hotel facilities for the rest of the day.
• Over night stay at Kaziranga. ( Shillong to Kaziranga 290 k.m )

Kaziranga Exploration

Day-5

• Early morning Elephant Safari in Kaziranga National Park (Usually booked in advance).
• Return to the resort for breakfast.
• After breakfast proceed for “Jeep Safari” in Kaziranga (central or western range).
• Evening visit Orchid Park and enjoy cultural programme ( Assamese Bihu Dance).
• Overnight stay at Kaziranga. ( Kaziranga 40 k.m ).

Kaziranga to Dirang

Day-6

• After Breakfast proceed to Dirang “A hidden gem in Northest India”.
• En-route visit natural water falls, Naag Mandir, Tango Army Shop, Bomdila Monestry.

Dirang to Tawang

Day-7

• After breakfast pleasant drive to Tawang “The land of Majestic Monastery”.
• En-route visit Baisakhi Army Canteen, Sela Pass, Sela Lake, Yashwant Garh War Memorial.

Day-9

• After Breakfast drive to Bomdila “Scenic drive”enjoying panoramic view.
• En-route visit Jung Fall, Sela Tunnel.
• Evening explore the local Market.

Bomdila to Guwahati

Day-10

• After breakfast proceed to Guwahati “From the bank of the mighty river Brahmaputra”via Shergaon.
